JB MDL Chili Cook Off

Do you have the winning chili recipe? Let the JB MDL community be the judge! The top chili of choice wins $500! Give it your best shot on Saturday, May 14 at John Mann Park where you prepare your own special recipe over an open flame and share it for tasting – show off your chili pride!

We fire up and start cooking at 10 am and at noon the JB MDL community arrives for the grand tasting event, contests, prizes, music, bounce castles, food and beverages. Vote for your favorite chili and cheer on the teams. Admission is FREE! Competitor packets are available online at gomdl.com or at Tommy B’s Community Activity Center.


Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three rated chili recipes, People’s Choice winner and best Showmanship! Prizes worth over $1000 will be awarded. Contestants must register no later than May 3.
