DePLAYment

Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB-MDL) is participating the "DePLAYment" program for families of deployed military. The program is designed to provide respite and support to the families of deployed and allows them to enjoy specified base activities for free or reduced fees.

To do so, families can come to any of the Warfighter and Family Readiness Centers (WFRC) on the joint base and pick up "DePLAYment" tags that can be used at force support facilities such as the JB MDL Youth Center, arts and crafts center, bowling center, Golf Course, auto hobby shop and outdoor recreation.

All active duty members with dependents, upon issuance of deployment orders and up to three months after the deployment, are eligible for the DePLAYment tags. Eligible dates are 1 July 2009 to 1 July 2010, even if member has returned.

The DePLAYment program is part of the Year of the Military Family year-long initiative that recognizes and celebrates the contributions of the military and their families by highlighting programs and services that support the military family.

Family members or deploying Airmen, Soldiers and Sailors may pick up the tags at any JB W&FRC (McGuire, Dix, Lakehurst) by providing a copy of the sponsor's orders. Tag-pass holders will use the computers in the Centers to log on to www.myairforcelife.com to register their pass and receive more information on the program. Their access to the site is their unique tag code placed on the tag itself.

The tags will be available for pick-up at any JB MDL W&FRC immediately.
